Hi! I'm Emily-Rose Steyn. I'm born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. Currently I live and work in Johannesburg as well and I am plodding along with a masters by research in electrical engineering.. I have a background in biomedical and electrical engineering and I am working as a product manager and software engineer at a software company.
I have a deep interest in personal growth and I like to think about how to solve the world's biggest problems (even though I haven't quite figured out how to act on those thoughts). I love consuming quality content (be it book, film, or game), discussing philosophical conundrums in my life or in the universe, and generally learning more about myself and others. I occasionally find myself having mini (or major) existential crises but my husband, cats, and family tend to keep me grounded.
I have created this site in the vein of a digital garden with the primary intention to write and share that writing. Enjoy! Or don't - your preference :P
